How It Works

The beauty of our AI recruiter lies in its simplicity. Just follow these three simple steps, and watch how using AI for hiring can simplify your life:

Step 1: Create a Vacancy

Start by setting up your vacancy. To do that, hit the “New Vacancy” button and fill in the details. Give your vacancy a name, add a department, and any notes. 

Next, you create a job description. There are two ways you can do it, depending on your internal recruitment process. There is an option to upload a PDF/DOCX document with the job description. Detailed yet focused input leads to more accurate and relevant requirements. Alternatively, you can write a few sentences describing the job, and AI will generate a basic list of requirements and role level that can be tweaked. 

The Job Description will be divided into categories – Skills, Experience, Education, Culture/Ethics, and Knowledge. This will serve as a backbone for further assessment.

Requirements can be prioritized manually or automatically using keywords and a score system. Each requirement gets a “Strength score” from 1 to 5+, based on its importance, with one being skills that are “nice-to-have” bonuses and five being “mandatory”. The recruiter can specify the importance of a skill by putting a corresponding number or word at the end of a requirement line. If the requirement receives a number greater than 5, it becomes the most crucial skill to be analyzed first. 

As the last step, the system automatically creates tags for each vacancy, which will be shown on the dashboard for better navigation. You can also see the main requirements in the form of tags inside the vacancy to get familiar with the job quickly.

Step 2: Create a Candidate Profile

You can build a candidate profile either by pasting/typing the CV manually or uploading the file directly. The process is pretty similar to building a vacancy. Talantly’s AI engine will study and analyze the document, extracting skills, experience, education, and other key details. 

After processing, you get a candidate profile with an overall compatibility score. Click on it and see a detailed CV evaluation. At the bottom of the page, there is a possibility to upload cover letters, references, and even interview transcripts for a more meticulous analysis, and even more reports. 

Step 3: Get Your Analysis in Seconds

Once everything is uploaded and set up, Talantly gets to work – matching, comparing, scoring, and ultimately helping you identify the top contenders. You can also mark your favorite candidates by pressing the star next to the overall compatibility score. Talantly will point out the gaps in candidates’ profiles and generate questions you can use to address the missing information.
